Arctic air for Monday

A weak wave of Low pressure will pass through northern New England tonight, but I’m not expecting any precipitation this evening and those clouds will actually be clearing late. As those clouds clear Arctic air will return to the region for Monday despite plenty of sunshine. Highs will only be in the mid and upper 20s, but a biting breeze will make it feel like its in the teens.

On Tuesday temperatures will make their way back to the mid 30s with a fair amount of sun although clouds will increase during the afternoon and evening as the first of two waves of Low pressure cut across central and northern New England. As a result by Tuesday night we may see a passing light snow shower or two if the moisture is able to move in fast enough. By Wednesday, temperatures will be climbing back in the mid 40s as the second wave of Low pressure moves through the region this time bringing rain showers.
