Celtics Select Amari Williams in Second Round of NBA Draft Thursday

After trading down from pick #32 in the second round Thursday, the Celtics using the first of two selections acquired later to take a big man.

Boston taking center Amari Williams with the #46 overall pick.

Williams averaging 10.9 points & 8.5 rebounds per game this past season for Kentucky.

He spent his previous four college seasons at Drexel, putting together a double-double performance at Bryant during the 2023-2024 campaign for the Dragons.
